I only have 7 work days left to go and one full weekend before I leave for Thailand. I am quite excited about it, which is unusual for me since I normally only get excited once my two feet have landed at my destination. Over and above the excitement of going to Asia for the first time in my life is the excitement of seeing my sister Janie after three months of her being on her one-year Round The World (RTW) adventure.

Johanne nice blog .. I wish you the best of times in Asia, you will love it so much. In Cambodia, make sure to visit the Elephant bar at the wonderful Raffles hotel, nothing like it after a day of trecking through Angkor. I can't wait to read your adventures.
I'm sorry I missed calling you to wish you a Bon Voyage. For some reason (old age maybe) I thought you were leaving next week. I want to wish you lots of fun with Janie and hopefully you both get to see fantastic and memorable places. Give a big hug to Janie for me and be safe. Keep us posted.
